Contents: This book centers around the third of Fielding's four periodical journals, The Jacobite's Journal (1747-8), and also includes the texts of two rare political pamphlets which had their source in the Pelham coalition. This volume provides the first text of any kind (since the originals of Fielding's day) for more than three-quarters of the material. It also provides full explanatory annotation appropriate to the highly topical nature of the writing.
