In 2018, the exclusive perfume line of the Arab niche house Lattafa Perfumes was replenished with a number of dizzying novelties, among which several compositions with a classic oud mood clearly stand out. These include the exciting textured smell of Lattafa Perfumes Oud Mood, which boasts a restrained woody character. Cold-blooded and imperturbable, at first glance, the fragrance hides the unbridled all-consuming passion of agar wood, which is considered sacred in the East due to its natural aphrodisiac property and the ability to open the depths of one's own subconscious.

The new unisex composition turned out to be slightly provocative and uncompromising, which is confirmed by its contrasting exterior design. The perfume is decorated in a traditional rectangular bottle, inside which a golden-amber liquid shimmers with sunlight. The massive glass of the exquisite vessel is encircled by a long jet-black ribbon, hinting that the nature of the woody smell is not as simple as it may seem at first glance.

The olfactory pyramid of Lattafa Perfumes Oud Mood opens with unexpected sharp notes of red pepper and delicate spice of noble saffron. Surrounded by a riot of spices, the flower buds of the rose seem even more tremulous and fragile. The caramel heart of the painting saturates the fragrance with gourmandism and is intertwined with subtle accents of patchouli, oud and a bouquet of floral notes. The resinous-incense trail warms with streams of warm musk, amber and the smells of rare woods.
