Siberian Pea Tree, Caragana arborescens, 30 Seeds (Hardy, Fragrant, Hedge)Native to Eastern Russia and Northern China, the Siberian Pea is a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub or tree that grows 15 to 20 feet tall and 12 to 15 feet wide. It grows upright and rounded with attractive bright green, 3 inches long, feathery pinnately compound leaves. Each leaf has 4 to 6 pairs of 1 inch, obovate to elliptic-oblong leaflets. Flowers are bright yellow, Pea-like and fragrant, bloomming singly or in clusters in Spring. Flowers are followed by 3 inch, yellow-green, edible pea pods that ripen to brown in summer.
