A Wonderful Antique Star Sapphire Paste Necklace Art Deco c.1920. This fabulous antique necklace dates to the 1920's, Art Deco Period. The necklace holds a beautiful antique star sapphire paste stone set into an Art Deco setting. The stone measures about 13 x 18mm oval. The setting has a very unique antique gold gilt that has acquired a deep patina over the years. Overall the necklace measures about 13 1/2 inches long. The pendant portion at center measures about 1 3/4 inches long by about 1 1/4 inches wide. This piece was acquired through an estate collection and is estimated to date circa 1920.
