Librairie Armand Colin, Paris, 1952. Written in the Original French. Profusely illustrated throughout by A. Mucha, many full-page; Ornamentation by P. Ruty. Light yellow boards, orange letters. Pages are beginning to yellow throughout, due to age/poor paper quality. Minor smudging, in places, to both boards. Book is slightly canted, but still tightly bound - both hinges are sound. The DJ is chipped/scuffed in places, with minor edge-wear, mainly at the top & bottom of the spine (closed), with a couple of 1/4" tears (closed). Still bright & colorful. Now in a Clearbags protective book cover. 286 pages + 2-pg "Table des Matieres".
