**** Here we have a beautiful, vintage lcd watch made by Bradley with the loveable Master Yoda. The watch is unusual in several aspects and is next to impossible to find. It features a square black and tan face with the Star Wars logo in red on the top, above the time window, and the word Yoda in black next to him, below the window. He is green and dressed in his brown outfit and holding his cane. This is the much more obscure Yoda digital version as indicated by the image of Yoda which is rare. The copyright information on the dial indicates it was made by Bradley with an odd date. The watch also has the year 1982 which preceded Return of the Jedi. Even though this watch has the Lucas film and Bradley trademarks on it, I find it odd that the date was after Empire Strikes Back was made in 1980 and before Return of the Jedi was released in 1983, remember the date says 1982. Whether this was a mistake I don't know but the copyright info and Bradley name is accurate. This is a rare example with an obscure mistake. It's a piece of history and art, and any Star Wars collector would love to display this piece in their collection. This particular Yoda watch is so hard to find, it does sell for twice what I'm selling it for, just for display because not a ton of these were produced like the Ewok or Droids watch.*****
This one still has the original plastic peel on the face of the watch, so it's a little more expensive, very hard to find one of these period but with the peel on it? WOW
This watch has not been tested so it is sold as a collectors piece only, they do not work. It has however been kept in a room temperature dry place for many years since I've owned it! You may be able to take the guts out of any similar size watch *ewok, yoda, r2d2/c3po from that era, and swap out the guts, but I don't know if they will fit, your guess is as good as mine, all depends on the inner size of the casing. This watch has one button on the right side, to call up the day and date, and if we recall it also shows seconds, (I have one in my own collection but its batteries have long since died as well so I'm going by memory). I can't guarantee that but most all other Bradley lcds Star Wars era watches do this.***** It has surface scratches on the face of the watch, but nothing that devalues this pieces collectability. The band is made of black vinyl, or rubber, not sure, and is a small band, probably a childs. On the back of the watch it says Bradley Time Division Hong Kong, and Plastic Bezel Stainless Steel Back 089S.*****
