Duncan #966A Slipper
This mold has been in storage, I have brushed it off with a clean, dry brush, but it may need professional cleaning before use. The outside is not pristine, but the pour holes are clear and the workablity of the piece should not be affected. Please contact me if you have questions about any of the pictures, I will be happy to help in any way I can.
This slipper shape mold has lots of neat detail as you can see from the pictures. The copyright date is 1968.
As you can see from the pictures, the mold is dirty and has some writing on the outside. I was afraid to brush too hard and damage the detail on the mold, but I am sure someone that knows more about these things could do a better job.
Over time, I will be posting more molds of this type. They came from the close-out of a craft shop in Arkansas, some have been used more than others, but they all pre-date 1990, as far as I can tell. Several brands, including Scioto, Duncan, Dona's, Alberta's and Holland. I have a large volume and no inventory list, so I am only able to describe them as I pull them out of the stacks.
Please check out my other items for more of these classic molds. I don't know a lot about these, but I am willing to answer all questions to the best of my knowledge.
Each mold will be wrapped in either foam or bubble wrap and nestled securely in packing material inside a USPS priority mail flat rate box for shipping.
Have a blessed day.
