A solid wood nutcracker hand carved to depict an almost nude woman. One leg swings open and functions as the nut cracker. She wears a scant sarong. Dating to the 1950s, the nutcracker is hand carved of a beautiful wood with good detail. Made in the Pacific Islands.
Measures 13 1/2" tall by 3 3/4" at the widest point. Legs open to 11".
The nutcracker is in excellent condition with no damage or repair. Well carved and constructed. Indentations on inner thighs to hold a nut. Works well as a nut cracker. Beautiful patina. Perfect for display or use on any bar and sure to be a topic of lively discussion.
