HALOS-TM, Hooked And Looped On Stamps Starter Set
This is my personal favorite mounting system for unmounted stamps! It's simple to use and it saves storage space.
This set includes:
* Four acrylic blocks with almost clear hook tape attached.
o 1.5" x 1.5"
o 2" x 3.5"
o 2" x 6"
o 3.5" x 4.5"
* One 4" x 9" sheet of black loop tape
I suggest that you order extra hook tape for storing your stamps in binders as well as extra loop tape for converting all your stamps to the HALOS-TM system!
Ive only seen stamps mounted on foam and wood, what do I do with this? Cut out the individual stamp and attach the back to the sticky side of the 'loop' tape. Cut the loop tape around the rubber stamp.
How do I stamp with this? The acrylic blocks have recessed strips of 'hook' tape. Place your stamp loop side up onto the the hook tape. Because the acrylic is clear, you can see exactly where you want to place your stamp. You may even put several stamps together on the same acrylic block and stamp them all at once!
How will this help organize my space and save on storage? Using 3-ring binders, stamp the image on a piece of paper. Then placing a row of 'hook' tape, stick your stamps down and place the paper into a sheet protector for easier viewing. Instead of cabinets full of wood-mounted stamps, you now have 3-ring binders. I've also heard of people putting the hook tape on stamp room walls and storing their stamps directly on the wall. If you already use temporary glues or static cling vinyl systems, just turn this acrylic block over and use the back side.
How good is the quality of this system? There are different qualities of loop tape--HALOS-TM is made for 10,000 pulls.
