Part of our "Perfect" Series, the perfect NES Classic Edition was inspired by a Marine in Minnesota and has what 8-bit Nintendo die-hards want most: A "Perfect" NES that accounts for every North American licensed and unlicensed game recognized and produced, as well as surfaced prototypes and all NES games released exclusively in Europe. We've done that with pin-point accuracy, cross-referencing all games across multiple lists.

We then moved the goal posts on ourselves by adding 296 licensed games released for the Japanese NES, the Family Computer. English translation patches were painstakingly applied so that marquee games that never saw a Stateside release can now be enjoyed for the first time. Further, the addition of select unlicensed Japanese games like Kart Fighter & Street Fighter II ensures that the system is complete with critically acclaimed unlicensed releases from the other side of the pond.

Finally, the cherry on top: What many consider to be the best baseball and football game ever produced, R.B.I. Baseball & Tecmo Super Bowl, have received updated rosters for their respective seasons. Play the originals with their classic rosters or these fan-made versions with updated rosters and stats.
