15 Split Leaf Philodendron Selloum Thaumatophyllum Seeds
Philodendron bipinnatifidum or Selloum is a striking philodendron with lovely leaves. The name philodendron comes from the Greek “phileo” which means to love and “dendron” which means tree. This species is typically described as a non-climber. When the tree falls over, the plant falls with him and grows in the created clearing. In temperate zones it will usually be grown as a plant on itself with a trunk and not as a climber. The leaves are very big and deeply cut on very long stems, which gives the plant a very exotic look. It will need a big enough space as it can become quite ample. It’s usually considered as an indoor plant but it’s more resistant than thought; it can resist slight frost for short periods down to 23F. This is supposedly the hardiest of all philodendrons, though not frost-hardy, where frost or freeze may kill the leaves or whole plant to ground-level, but it will usually come back when warm weather returns in spring. Nonetheless, it’s best to give protection during winter freezes or overwinter indoors. 15+ Seeds
