Stylized leaf on oval disk copper pin brooch mid century vintage ll2463

This mid-century copper pin consists of a stylized leaf attached to an oval copper disk that is slightly convex. The back and leaf surrounded have been japanned or blackened. On the back someone has removed a bit of the black, see photo. Condition is solid with some oxidation. I haven't cleaned or interfered with the pin in any way.
The pin is 1.5 x 2 inches. It has a safety clasp and is worn north to south.
