Brightly colored gold skin and flesh, this variety makes for great eating. Waxy, strap-like leaves are not serrated in this variety. Prized for its low acidity combined with high sugar content, Elite Gold is one of the leading commercially grown varieties worldwide.

Cultivation
Does best in well-drained, sandy loam-type soil. Warm temperature is essential but can be a potted houseplant in colder climates. Requires high Nitrogen and Magnesium to increase fruit size. Drought and heat tolerant, easy to grow. Soil PH: 4.5 to 6.5, Zones 9-11.

These 4"+ plants come in 2.5" x 2.5" x 3.5" deep pots.
