Primitive Antique Framed Needlework Tray Wool Yarn Flower Basket
Welcome! Presenting an antique primitive wool yarn framed tapestry tray featuring an image of a basket of flowers under the glass. It can be used as a tray or displayed as a wall hanging. It has old brass handles and there is a piece of old cotton string across the back. It measures 19 inches long and 13 1/4 inches wide. The depth of the wooden frame is about 1 3/8 inches.
PLEASE NOTE: This tray is offered AS-IS. It is old and is intact and usable, but has some issues: There is visible staining, dirt and/or foxing along the top and bottom of the textile. The wooden frame of the tray has a lot of alligator type pooling to the finish from exposure to variations in temperature. There are some dings and indentations to the wood. The wood backing is considerably worn with some splintering and held in place by rusty nails. If you purchase this, be careful of those nails. The brass handles are old and tarnished and may have been added later than when the textile was originally made.
