My grandma bought this purse for herself, but never used it. It is in brand new condition. No markings, rips, tears, scuffs, or anything like that. It is in mint condition. The color is not a bright red, more burgundy toned. It is beautiful and has an adjustable belt for the shoulder strap. It also has a band belt that goes around one of the sides (can be adjusted). The band belt has a metal clasp that you turn up or down (see photos) to open/close. This belt functions to close/open the external pouch (accordion like). The inside of the purse is sealed by a zipper. Within the main purse, there is an internal side zipper which acts as another pouch for small items.
