"Oranges, fresh oranges!" Danilo calls, as he leads his horse drawn cart down the winding village streets. But then he comes to a road he has never seen before...that brings him to a park he has never known existed...where he finds the most rare, wondrous, and amazing fruit he has ever tasted. What happens next is a surprise to Danilo and everyone else!

As the magical tale unfolds, Danilo learns to value and keep what is most important in life. Amy Valens's vibrant art evokes traditional Sicilian folk style, with its rich, captivating colors and designs. The exuberance of both the paintings and the storytelling will delight young children again and again.
