In this clever and riveting comedy-adventure, Crazy Famous explores the basic human desire for fame through the eyes of a wide-eyed average Joe. Bob’s obsession to be famous lands him in a mental hospital after an outrageous stunt to get the media’s attention fails. When a psychiatrist tells Bob he needs to accept being average and stop pursuing fame, Bob throws a full blown tantrum and threatens to kill himself. Forced to wear an anti-suicide smock, a sullen Bob runs into Smith; a deranged mental patient who claims Osama Bin Laden is still alive and knows where he's hiding. Bob's enthusiasm is rekindled when Smith promises to make Bob famous in exchange for helping him escape the hospital to capture Bin Laden.
