Meat Cleaver Tenderizer, Vintage Kitchen Tool

ON THE PLUS SIDE: This is a vintage meat cleaver/tenderizer well loved and well used. We believe this to have been from the 1950’s or 60’s. It has what appears to be a Steel blade with tenderizer attached and a wood handle with ability for hanging attached. So then this piece may be stored flat or hanging.

AND THE MINUS: This meat cleaver with built in tenderizer appears to be just a little bit loose at the point of attachment of tenderizer although it is not rendered unusable. We have found after multiple uses it works just fine and does an excellent job. Therefore we mention the possible looseness just as a way of being open and through in imparting knowledge to you. It is possible this was a part of the design from the beginning, we do not know.

AND THE END: Approximate measurements are: 13” long, 3” wide, and 1 ¼” deep. Patent Pending. Materials are metal and wood. Does a great job of tenderizing meat and chopping.
