Wax printing(Batik)

it's an ancient painting and dying art made by restorting to a specially designed needle with melted wax and using it to draw the canvas in the indigo dye vat.since the wax left on the cloth often cracks after its hardening , the dyes can seep into the cracks to from fine grains . when the wax is heated away,fantastic picutres appear vividly on the canas.each picutre stands for numerous meaning.recording its long history and showing the ancestors' worship to the totem.
