Plot: Top Gear Dare Devil is a racing game that features minicars. The 12 models are broken up into three types: urban, street, and sport. In addition, the streets are filled with 75 other models of cars. The game's 27 levels are set in Rome, London, Tokyo, and San Francisco. Players collect pick-ups during races; each city has hidden bonus levels and cars. Bring a friend along for the ride, because multiplayer modes include racing, coin grab, and bomb grab. Dare Devil features an underground, internationally famous team racing in the cities of Rome, London, San Francisco, and Tokyo. Players drive their favorite car through expansive areas, picking up stage points by completing dare devil maneuvers and stunts. Scattered around are power-ups that are needed to complete a stage. You can open up bonus levels and cars by scoring a high enough score. The emphasis is on getting to the goal by any means necessary, not following the paved path ... so jumping from rooftop to rooftop may be a more effective route than trying to wade through traffic. The physics are a little on the lighter side, so it's possible to send your car soaring over the hills of San Francisco. 102720-VG2
