RAPHAEL TUCK Victorian EASTER Card -Bishop Andres verse, winter landscape
Description: Victorian Greeting Card - RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS - "Thou who at the sixth hour..."
Here's a nice Easter card featuring a winter landscape scene and a spindly tree. The artist's initials appear to be CN. There's also a verse attributed to "BISHOP ANDRES".
The back simply has the Tuck "ARTISTIC SERIES" (1430) easel logo in the center
Size: approx. 5.625" x 3.625"
Date: Not dated.
Lithographer: Raphael Tuck & Sons
Condition: Good, I'd say. The front of the card is only lightly soiled, but the back has a good bit of glue residue around the perimeter, along with several small patches of surface paper loss. (Please see scans.)
