You will be receiving one plant between 2.5 and 6 inches in height shipped in a 3-inch deep pot. The second picture in the ad shows a range of typical sizes that we ship.

Two plants in one. An ornamental ground cover and a delicious vegetable. Leaves are great fresh. Added to a salad they have a spicy lemon pepper taste. Or cooked as stir fry, etc. Leaves can be anywhere from 1 1/2 - 3 inches long and are shiny dark green on top and iridescent purple underneath. While not a true spinach, it is very interesting substitute that- unlike spinach, tolerates hot weather. A tough sub-tropical plant that is considered a "tender perennial" in that it doesn't tolerate freezing.


Zones 8b-11. Excellent potherb that is super easy to grow. May die back to the ground in freezing weather but usually returns during warm weather. Forms a 1-foot tall ground cover that does well in sun or shade. If you have room in your home this would be an excellent crop to grow indoors during the winter keeping up your supply of minerals even during the coldest months.
