Acrylic and oil on canvas
The living symbol of peace, the dove, is depicted delivering peace in the form of Paveway smart bombs. The urban setting below is aglow in the aftermath of this peace. The artist, Daniel Taylor, takes the viewer on a quick trip to a scene not unlike those happening at any given moment at some point around the globe and reminds us that throughout history, destruction has often been used to force the issue of "Peace".
This arresting visual is made even more attention demanding by the bright metallic blue under painting representing the cool early morning sky. This metallic finds the ambient light and directs it to the viewer.
This work was executed on a gallery wrapped canvas and therefore can be displayed as is or framed to fit the theme of your surroundings.
