Second Pattern Officer’s Luftwaffe Dagger with Case

A 2nd Pattern Luftwaffe Dagger; with the scabbard on, this dagger features a diamond shaped nickel-plated magnetic steel blade, with very sharp edges, remaining bright and crisp, and having semi-sharp tip. The blade's reverse ricasso is without maker. The leather washer at the crossguard junction remains intact and the blade only exhibits light wear from extraction and return to the scabbard, natural shine, with scattered surface wear, extremely fine. The hilt fittings are nicely detailed, including the embellished pommel, eagle crossguard and quillon surfaces, with very light contact. White celluloid grip, along with ten rows of tightly wound aluminum bullion wire around the grip are free of interruption and in overall very good shape. Accompanied by a set of Luftwaffe dagger hanger straps - Two straps, each with two rows of silver bullion wire and bluish-gray embroidered uppers....
