This beloved evergreen shrub is most loved for its showy bell-shaped flowers. The branches tend upright, with an arching shape. A quick grower, some specimens may reach 8-10 feet in height and width and respond well to spring pruning. Hardy to 25F, they crave moderate to regular watering, excellent drainage and full sun with afternoon shade suggested in the hottest regions. The large 3-inch blooms pepper the attractive foliage from spring through fall and sometimes year-round. The discerning eye will also be drawn to the handsome maple-shaped leaves.
