This spectacular tree is grown for its awesome ornamental bark with showy multicolored patches that cover the trunk. Commonly planted as a stately, ornamental street tree in tropical regions. Clouds of white blooms on Spring. Each year patches of the bark are shed at dif­fer­ent times, expos­ing bright inner green bark. As the bark matures it slowly turns blue, then orange, lime green, pur­ple and maroon. The tree does best in warm, humid areas in the US. Does not tolerate frost. 30 Seeds
