Hull Matte Basket Iris Pattern 1940's Art Pottery 408-7"

This delightful basket is in the "Iris" pattern by Hull Pottery. It has a matte finish, as opposed to glossy. The colors blend from blue on the base to cream to pink at the rim and handle. Marked on the bottom, "HULL/ USA/ 408 - 7"/ 22 (decorator's mark)". Size: 7 in. high x 7.5 in. long x 4 7/8 in. wide. Excellent condition ~ there are three tiny glaze pops on the handle (1mm or less) and one in the inside bottom of the bowl, all done during the manufacturing process (see closeup photo); also a few tiny marks on one side, probably from storage (I wouldn't even call them scratches). Circa 1940's. Guaranteed to be authentic Hull pottery. (#5702-CAS+)
