The picture shows the shape of the end. The color of the cable is SILVER.
This is a new , standard steel, brake inner cable. The brand is SUNLITE CYCLING. It is not in a factory package because we buy them in bulk.
It is 67" long or 1700 mm. The diameter of the cable is about 1.6 mm. The diameter of the barrel end is about 6.9 mm. The width of the barrel end is about 5.6 mm. You will need to cut the cable to the length that you need. The outside housing is NOT included.
It is made from several small strands of galvanized steel wire wrapped around each other just like all of the brake cable that you have seen. This is the inner cable only and does not include the outside housing. This brake inner cable has a barrel end which is the kind that is on most bicycles. It does not have a ball end and will not fit road bike levers.
Please look at the barrel end in the picture of the drawing and see if it looks like the cable end on your old brake cable.
A cable end tip to put on the cut end of the inner cable is NOT included because it is not included at the factory. You can buy end tips in another of my eBay ads. An end tip is not necessary but it makes the end of the inner cable look neater.
