Garnet red rose artisan handcrafted sterling silver wire wrapped artist translucent necklace pendant

This is an Artisan designed and handcrafted large garnet pendant, with wire wrapped sterling silver. The round rose stone has a raised texture rose flower design on top, and is a beautiful translucent red color, with the sterling silver showcasing the natural beauty of the colors within the garnet stone. This interesting and creative jewelry piece was handmade by a Missouri artist who put extreme thought and care into the design and creation of this special one-of-a-kind piece.

The silver bale on top will accommodate a necklace chain (see photo with ruler for bale measurement). NO chain is included with this pendant. The pendant measures about 1 7/8 inches in length, including the sterling silver bale, and is about 1 3/8 inches across the widest part, including the delicate silver wires. It comes with a gold color cardboard gift box.

There are no artist marks or sterling silver marks on this piece. I took photos from several angles, and even one with the pendant hanging with a backlight (see the translucent quality and the brighter red color), so that you can see the lovely way the garnet rose pendant appears dark to light red under changing light.

This is an exceptional round garnet pendant, framed within wonderfully detailed wire wrapped sterling silver. Garnet is a very popular light red to dark red color semi-precious gemstone, and is the birthstone for January.
