On Jan and Dean's rise to the top of the music industry, a horrible car accident leaves Jan Berry incapacitated and their dreams shattered. With the help of Dean and others, Jan slowly recovers, learning again to walk and talk. A comeback to the music industry seems impossible, but Jan's willingness to try and with Dean the duo aim for another chance.Previously only available on VHS and poor quality bootleg DVD's that were made from VHS. This is a newly remastered syndicated version that is arguably the best it's ever looked. Although not HD (it was broadcast back in 1978 before HD) it has been upscaled for HDTV and is widescreen. A great hard to find gem that will entertain fans of the duo and music from the 60's.Also included is the 1966 Television pilot episode of the Jan & Dean TV show that never aired. It was going to go into production until Jan Berry's car accident later that year. A deleted scene is also included featuring the guys performing "Little Old Lady From Pasadena."Due to licensing a watermark was visible on the bottom right of the screen but has been digitally faded to be almost transparent throughout the movie. I am sure anyone who has bought a copy of this in the past will gladly take a small logo in the corner in order to get a far superior copy than has ever been available.Item comes in a case with full artwork shrink wrapped and retail ready.
