The glorious vision of IMAX comes to DVD with Into the Deep. The film is presented in 1.33:1 full-frame and displays a multitude of vibrant colors and dark black levels. Without any edge enhancement or other imperfections to mar the image, this transfer appears to be in excellent condition. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround in both English and French. Bristling with directional effects and many surround sounds, this mix is a great representation of how a 5.1 track should sound. All aspects of the audio track are free and clear of any hiss or distortion. Also included on this disc are English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles. The extra features on Into the Deep are very scarce -- while the back of the package lists a behind-the-scenes featurette, the only supplement on the disc is a theatrical trailer.
