Bios Assembly cmos battery (RTC Battery) is for Dell Precision M6400 M6500 (compatible, not OEM) and requires a cable with a 3 wire and 3 pin plug (not OEM, yet compatible with 3P3FIL, F159c and it's 3 Pin Plug assembly) Models 3P3FIL were made in 2007 (Expiration 2017), these are not old stocks that are being passed on as new. The date codes on these are 2015 and would expire in 10 years or 2025. Compatible with other notebooks the use # 3P3FIL ie: 23.25006.001 ,23.25007.001 , 23.25007.002, 23.22056.001 . If your notebook uses any of these assemblies, GC020012S00, # V2TRD, CR2032L/DBE Molex-25-P3, and GC02000KH00, 23.25005.001, , do not purchase this, it will not work as it's replacement. The renewal or replacement process might be something that can be somewhat challenging depending on the specific model of notebook, yet in most cases technical manuals will allow the scope of it's replacement process and allow owners to replace and renew the cmos battery.
