You are looking on a very rare Alabama HANDICAP MOTORCYCLE latest style with smal size Heron PROTOTYPE license plate. The D08Q series is reserved for DMV prototypes and new license plate designs produced for internal use (for DMV clerks identification) by the Alabama DMV. Very few of this type exist. They were issued as prototypes and sent to each of the county tag offices prior to this base being issued so AL residents could see an example of the plate. These are different from the regular samples marked "SAMPLE" that may be sold to the public because they have "D08Q" as a serial number instead of "SAMPLE". Regular samples for this license plate type read "sample" at the bottom. Other prototypes are known with the same or slightly different serial number. 
The license plate listed is for collecting/display purposes only, and fully complies with all eCRATER listing policies.It is no longer valid and is at least three years old. 
It is sold as a collectible, hobby or souvenir item and never for display on any type of motor vehicle.
