CD1 in this set comprises the best quality recording so far of the complete BBC FM broadcast of Yazoo at the Dominion Theatre in London on November 22nd 1982. Tracklisting: Situation, Too Pieces, Goodbye Seventies, Winter Kills, Bad Connection, Tuesday, Bring Your Love Down (Didn’t I?), Midnight, Chinese Detectives, In Your Room, Don’t Go, The Other Side Of Love, Ode To Boy, Only You, Situation (12” Mix). CD2 brings the Yazoo story up to date with a couple of BBC radio interviews from April 12th 2008 and September 27th 2010 to discuss the Yazoo Reconnected project. Finally, a rare live recording of Don’t Go from the Jonathan Ross show, BBC1, May 18th 2008. As a bonus, customers will be able to download from my Cloud storage an incomplete recording of the 1982 concert compiled from BBC 6 Music digital re-broadcasts. So far the BBC is yet to re-broadcast the entire show. Unfortunately, Tuesday and Ode To Boy are missing from the compilation. However, the sound quality of the re-broadcasts is excellent – better even than the quality of CD1 – which is why I want to make it available to you. 102 minutes.
