A BBC profile of Bowie on his 50th birthday by Alan Yentob, who made the Cracked Actor documentary in the 1970s. The programme was called Changes: Bowie at 50, and was broadcast on January 4th 1997. A couple of years later, the BBC invited Bowie to reminisce about his career for a Top Of The Pops special, broadcast on November 3rd 1999. The interview is interspersed with appearances from the legendary session for the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1972 and live performances of songs from the …hours album.
