Great insect repellent because of the scent (thanks to all those volatile oils) can be used not only as an insect repellent, but as a way to naturally scent homemade perfumes and cosmetics. Bugs don't like strong smells so the essential oil makes a great addition to bug sprays and bug repelling candles. When using it in cosmetics, be careful not to use too much as it can easily be pushed over the line of smelling good to smelling too strong.
