Large Antique Silver Hoop Earrings Oaxaca Mexican Vintage Art Deco 1930

A Fabulous Pair of Large Dangle Antique Handmade Hoop Earrings, Oaxaca Mexican Vintage Victorian - Art Deco Style in Silver, circa 1930-40's. These earrings are authentic Oaxacan Mexican made of handmade filigree in silver and were usually saved for special occasions such as weddings and celebrations. The earrings are quite wonderful and measure an impressive 3 1/4 inches long from earring top to bottom dangle by about 2 1/16 inches wide. The floral details are all handmade of fine filigreed wire and all dangles are original. The earrings test to be silver, but the exact grade of silver is not known. The earring tops are not silver. These earrings are made in the traditional Victorian - Art Deco Period style and are estimated to date circa 1930-40's. These earrings were acquired from an estate collection and are in lovely vintage condition for their age. A rare find.
