Anchor Hocking Prismatic Swirl Footed Bowl
Anchor Hocking Prismatic #979, aka Swirl Rib footed bowl, circa 1941. Swirl Rib made at least two items in three sizes and two colors: crystal and pink. This is a 10 inch wide x 2 3/4 inch tall footed bowl, color pink.
Excellent condition. Glass is beautiful and clear. No chips or cracks. This piece has sections that are positioned to run in Ribs in different directions and the overall shape is wide and flared with the upper portion resting upon 3 curved-out feet. The Dish is deep enough to be used for fruit, vegetables, the catch all bowl.
Brought together with 3 seems from top of bowl through each of the feet. This is a scarce item being there were a small collection of this particular pattern with few made.
