Luthiers and do-it-yourselfers will love this set of 100 hard-to-find TKL fasteners....same ones as used in Gibson, Gretsch, Epiphone,etc guitar cases (and other instrument cases!)
Includes 100 rivets in both nickel and brass finishes...in the most popular sizes for guitar cases....5/8th inch and 1/2 inch. These are the most common sizes for handle, hinge, and latch installation. Can be easily installed by hand with common tools.
SHOP TALK -- The split rivets will install with normal hand-tools...I get a pro look every time...just bend the tabs back a little with needle nose pliers then tap the tabs flat against the surface with a small hammer...this gives a rock solid and tight bond....oftentimes this is tighter than from the TKL factory! Shop tip...hold a counter weight against the head of the rivet while tapping; a small anvil works great...this gives your hammer blows more impact. Great set of parts!
