" The Namco ProxCoupler (TM) System is designed primarily for use on equipment that has both stationary and movable elements. The ProxCoupler replaces cumbersome connector contact or slip-ring assemblies with a non-contact, solid-state system consisting of two parts. The Master Coupler is used on the stationary part of the equipment and provides power to the Remote Coupler. The Remote Coupler supplies power to the Remote Sesnor and target status information to the Master Coupler. The Remote Sensor can be either a Namco 2-Wire AC/DC device or a mechanical contact device. Interconnection of the Remote Coupler and Remote Sensor is via standard double-ended Mini-style cordsets."
