It is known as the cross of Saint Peter. In Christian symbolism the upside down cross represents the manner of crucifixion requested by Saint Peter. In his reverence to Jesus he felt unworthy to die in the same manner Christ died. Also in recent times the upside down cross is viewed viewed by some as being a satanic symbol. Stamped 925. I will include a nice 925 Silver chain 18" long. The chain will be as picured or a little thicker desgn depending on my stock. This design has a beautiful Celtic pattern on it. The pendant has a good weight and generous amount of thick silver.
