GEOTEA VTX50 is a 50 gallon Vortex Compost Tea Machine.

Like the GT250, it is capable of making either a Dormant Tea (Extract) in 1 - 2 hours or an Active Tea in 24 hours. It is powered by an extremely quiet air pump that will offer years of reliable service. Uses 3 quarts of screened compost per batch.

The VTX50 is designed around a 55 gallon cone bottom poly tank with a sturdy steel base frame. A stainless steel manifold is the basis for an efficient air lift which connects to the bottom of the cone bottom tank. As the air rises through the manifold, it draws along a column of liquid which is deposited into the top of the tank. This column of liquid is introduced into the tank in such a way to create an excellent rotation of liquid throughout the entire tank. Since the column of air and water is drawn from the bottom of the tank, there are no areas of reduced dissolved oxygen or settling of particulate matter.

The air pump of the VTX50 is mounted above the tank on a stainless steel pedestal. This excellent feature prevents the air pump from being damaged by the back flow of water in the event of a power disruption.
