Full-size Jumbo body creates a rich sound with plenty of bass and exceptional volume. Cutout facilitates access to the upper frets. The upper deck is made of spruce.
Spruce has an ideal balance between strength and flexibility. This explains the extreme popularity of the use of this wood as a material for the upper deck of acoustic guitars.
