This is an Antique Sterling Silver Hallmarked Chatelaine Purse from the late 1800's!
An ornate, beautiful and fully hallmarked sterling silver chatelaine purse in superb condition. There is such great attention to every detail, both sides of the purse are equally beautiful & so too is the interior. The frame is unmistakably Art Nouveau. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The purse is hallmarked on the inside frame edge. The shield cartouche is ready for your personalization as it has not been engraved.
This rare antique silver chatelaine purse measures 6.5" from the tip of the bypass clasp to the base of the dangling beads on the bottom (10.5" from the top of the chain) by 4.25" wide & weighs approximately 205 grams.
Sterling could use a detailed polishing upon receipt.
Secondhand piece - may contain minor markings/imperfections.
