Description

This is crocheted with acrylic yarn. It measures about 19" X 7 1/2" from the top to edge of the body of the hat. The back has a new ponytail holder, specifically crocheted in for stretch. My "lady" does not have a wig with long hair so I was not able to show how the ponytail or bun would appear. Because of the ribbed design, this will stretch quite nicely. The bill is double thickness so it is quite firm and will hold it's shape.

This is best to wash in a lingerie bag or pillow case on delicate and then dry (still in the bag or case) in the dryer on low.

Background

I started crocheting for Blood Cancer United after my husband was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on December 27, 2012. He is in remission now and doing well.
