This is the best sword you will find in  the price range Materials And Way Of Forge: Blade: The blade of the  sword has been hand forged using the ancient method of sword  making. Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened. The  construction of the blade is GYAKU-KOBUSE,  one kind of KOBUSE construction, It is constructed of two  different kinds of steel, the core steel and the outer  steel, where the core steel is wrapped with the outer steel.  the core steel is harder than the outer steel. the outer  steel was made of folded steel. AISI 1060 High Carbon Steel  are folded 12 times creating 4096 layers for superior  strength and flexibility. the visible tenuous undulating  grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly  during forging. The core steel was made  of 1095 steel, The steel has been thoroughly refined and tempered, A  special clay is applied to the blade by hand, using a thin covering  near the edge and a thicker layer over the rest of the blade. this  results in a relatively quicker cooling of the edge during  quenching, producing a hard edge and softer back. the beautiful real  hamon on the blade is also result of the differential cooling of the  blade (quenching and tempering). This blade has been hand polished with multiple grade sharpen stone  by Japanese method, which made the surface of the blade like a  mirror, the more importance is that the blade was polished by HAZUYA  which is a very thin Uchigumori stone fixed with paper, Hazuya is a  specific stone to bring up hamon, The stone is very fine and soft  against the steel. the blade of this sword is completely finished  with Hazuya. the work is done to get mirror-like surface on  shinogi-ji and edge. The tip of the  blade is a Chu Kissaki (medium length), it was well defined  with the hamon going all the way through the Boshi. This blade has a shape  in "SHINOGI-ZUKURI" style which is the most general style for  TACHI / KATANA and WAKIZASHI , There is NOT BO-Hi (blood  groove) to enhance its strength and cutting power. This blade comes  with a full length Tang which greatly enhances the strength  of the sword. this sword is strong enough to cut through a  thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to  slice paper. Tsuba:  The Tsuba (guard) of the sword is brass with tiger&lion design . The Habaki  (blade collar) is a one piece brass construction. Two Seppas  (spacer) secure the Tsuba. Tsuka:   The Tsuka (handle) core is wooden and it is tightly wrapped  over genuine Ray skin Samegawa with leather Ito. The Fuchi  (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) are brass with tiger design. The  Tang of the sword is secured by two Mekugi (peg). Two copper  Menuki (ornament) are on each side of the Tsuka. Saya: The saya  (sheath) of the sword is hard wooden.  Sage-O has been tied around the bright copper Kurikata  (knob) of the scabbard. The koiguchi (sheath mouth) and Kurikata  features bull horn, they are very hard. It has been used on Japanese Sword handles for a  very long time mostly due to its rough texture which when wrapped  with 'cord', denies the cord from slipping. We have six colors for choosing,  if you do not like the color on the above sword, you are free to choose  following colors instead of original one! 　 SYNTHETIC SILK TSUKA-ITO  (Free) TSUKA-ITO  is the cord wrap on the handles of Japanese swords. Its  purpose is both aesthetic and functional, Ito comes in a  wide array of color to suit every taste, and it helps  reinforce the tsuka and prevent failure. You can choose  following Tsuka-Ito instead of original one. The  purpose of the Sageo is to hold the scabbard into the obi belt and  keep it from slipping. It is also used at times to secure the katana  into its saya by wrapping the sageo around the tsuka and tying it  off. It is easy to customize your Japanese sword by swapping out the  Sageo. ★Following  Segeo are imported  from Japan, they are available to all who choose to upgrade the  appearance of their Saya. ★if  the sword you purchased lower than $200,  you need pay an additional $10  to choose following imported segeo instead original one. ★if  the sword you purchased more than $200,  you are free to choose following imported segeo instead original  one. 　 TSUKA-MAKI FOR CHOOSING (Free) Tsuka-maki - the art of  wrapping the tsuka, including the most common hineri-maki and  katate-maki (battle wrap); You can choose the warpping between  them, Our focus is making the wrap as tight as  possible to keep if functional as long as possible. 　 SAYA FOR CHOOSING (Free) The saya  is a wooden scabbard for the blade; traditionally done in  lacquered wood. Our saya are  manufactured from very dry wood, they are not can keep the shape  of the saya, but also can ensure the blade is not  easy to rust.
