*ITEM: MILITARY SHOULDER PATCH 6th ( Sixth ) Alamo Force Training Army During Vietnam

*MANUFACTURER: U.S. Military through various unknown manufacturers.

*COLOR: Green, Red and White

*MEASURES: 2 3/4" dia.

*CONDITION: Decent display condition. Some shuffle wear from over the years. Edges are freyed.

*USED: Yes, this patch does have what looks like the stitching lines intact.

*YEAR: After 1950 the 6th Army patch was given this green background design. During WWII the 6th Army patch had a beige or red background. The WWII red background is ultra rare. This patch was produced after 1950 and most likely in the Vietnam years when thousands of soldiers had to be trained for combat. The 6th Army trained soldiers during the Vietnam war.

So many manufacturers were used at the same time there's no telling their manufactured time period even if the patches were verified by their original owners or purchased in a big lot of period patches like I have.
