Cover is tight, spine is square. Pages tight and lightly yellowed. One minor crease on front cover. Some chipping on the front covers. The only marks seen inside or outside of the book is the owners name on the first page.

"The smell's coming from that bale." "Split it open," Mr. Joseph commanded.
The storeman thrust the iron hook into the bale, then stopped. "I'm quitting. That stink reminds me of dead people."
"It's only a rat," Mr. Joseph argued.
