This is the hard to find (HTF) "rough-to-the-touch" crinkle painted model. Thick BLACK coated enamel paint gives lifetime protection. Heavy metal main support and base. Metal base has non-skid boot for table surface protection. Baked on enamel finish. 12x to 18x zoom eyepiece and all 3 objective lenses have been tested for clarity. Capability of each lens is as follows: 96x thru 144x / 300x thru 450x / 600x thru 900x. Microscope body tilts over 45 degrees for easy viewing from a seated position. Easy change rotating lens carousel. Fully extended height is 10 inches.
