Amber Candy Dish by Tiara of Dunkirk Indiana
The lid is not pushed down all the way to show that there is the plastic "liner" to keep the lid tight and your candy air tight -- a great way to display your ribbon candy during the holidays and it will not become all stuck together!
"Tiara Glass was marketed by Tiara Exclusives of Dunkirk, Indiana, USA through home-parties held by sales agents, between 1970 and 1998. The offices of Tiara Exclusives were adjacent to the Indiana Glass Company, and both companies belonged to the Lancaster Colony Corporation. Indiana Glass made a very large volume of the glassware for Tiara. Before and after the closure of the Indiana Glass hand shop (in 1989), Tiara glass was also made by other glassworks including Fenton Art Glass and L.E.Smith".
I may not have the original box for this item as the garage flooded one year from the snow melting too fast and most of the Tiara items I had in the boxes became wet and the boxes were not able to be salvaged.
Most of my Tiara items are new and in mint condition. I was at one time a Tiara Consultant for many years.
